A great sense of humour and an emotional connection and relationship between the characters that feel very real, which makes the second half of the movie absolutely devastating and wholesome!You'll sit with a smile on your face despite the tears running down your cheeks while the movie shows just how bittersweet and challenging life can be, but it also shows that it's okay, cause none of us are alone in feeling that way. The film does an incredible job at taking something "supernatural" and incorporating it seamlessly into the real world. Though the hook is the time travel element, there is so much more to this movie that meets the eye. The relationship between the characters is touching, the earnest nature of the protagonist is charming and the finale is one of the most touching/tear-jerking in recent memory. It is evident that the writers thought carefully about the rules of time travel, specifically related to the third act reveal. About Time is also much more than a Rom/Com. While Tim and Mary's love story is at the forefront (and their playful banter is captivating), the beautiful nature of living each day to the fullest is truly what drive this film to greatness.Best Character: Tim (honorable mention to nearly every other character)Best Quote: "I thought this phone was old, and suddenly it's my most valuable possession." - TimBest Scene: Quick Little WalkBest Piece of Score: Golborne RoadHonorable Mention Quote: "We're all traveling through time together, every day of our lives.
