Our 8th Annual Animal Services Valentine’s Day collection was another huge success thanks to our wonderful staff. The 2023 Notice of Proposed Property Taxes will be mailed on Potential Hurricane Idalia Property Tax Refunds "Refund of taxes for residential improvements rendered uninhabitable by a catastrophic event" (F.S.197.319) may apply to properties impacted by Hurricane Idalia. Through a joint effort between the Property Appraiser’s office and Hernando County Association of Realtors, we have a new interactive map to help the public easily locate properties for sale in their neighborhood. By doing a Property Search on their own address and then clicking on the new tab, it will show properties for sale in their area. By clicking on the actual listed property icon , a photo and brief description shows. Click the Website link at the bottom of the description and it will direct you to the full MLS listing. | |

NEW Historically Hernando Walking Tour Map Hernando County was established in 1843. Brooksville was established in 1856 and incorporated in 1880. The homes featured in this walking tour are some of the homes of our early families that helped make Brooksville the community it is today. 1. In the GIS Map tab we now have a JPG feature that enables you to export the selected parcel (Ortho imagery with parcel lines). 2. In the Parcel details tab we now have a print button that prints out the complete parcel details information on the compound search. Basically, the same feature as the previous parcel search. 3. Under the Structure tab we now have options to search for sinkholes. |
