Simply put,Birdies for Children is a fundraising event that helps nonprofits raise money through a contest with a grand prize winner receiving a BRAND NEW 2023 Honda! The Honda Classic collects all donations and writes checks back to the charities for 100% of the money plus the 5% matching bonus.What is a birdie? A birdie is a score of one stroke better than par for any golf hole. Par is the average expected score for any given hole (typically 3, 4, or 5). PGA pros are expected to make anywhere between 1,000 - 1,500 birdies during The Honda Classic. Are you looking for a good place to make donations to for the end of the year? Please, please consider giving to Pious Projects of America - they're rated as a 4-star charity by Charity Navigator and are funding extremely important projects such as (but not limited to) emergency relief for Palestine/Gaza and food/water for Yemen, who is also undergoing one of the worst hunger crises in the world. Something I really like about their campaigns is that they tell you exactly how much your donation helps (ie "$50 buys 1 food basket"). As you sit in your warm houses and fill up on your favorite holiday treats, please consider helping out people who are not as lucky as you are.
