A New York City native, she moved to Cincinnati in 1929 after her marriage to Cornelius Wortendyke DeForest. Her paintings have been displayed at the Milch and Newhouse galleries and National Academy of Design in New York, Corcoran Gallery in Washington, the New York World's Fair, the Farnsworth Museum at Wellesley College near Boston, and others. Wallace Memorial services for James L. Wallace, 31, of 7335 North Ridge Madison Township, will be at 4 p.m. today at Heights Christian Church, 17300 Van Aken Shaker Heights. Mr. Wallace died Friday in Cleveland Metropolitan General Hospital where he was taken Dec.

19. He was burned over of his body while trying in vain to rescue his two children in a fire at their apartment. The children who died in the fire were William 4, and Marjorie 16 months. Mr. Wallace was a graduate of Arizona State University and had taught elementary school in Phoenix.
